About Me
I graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor’s in Psychology in 2001 and a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work in 2003. From there, I worked in the emergency room, training under the most respected psychiatrists, helping those with the most acute mental health issues.
From my experiences in the emergency room, I quickly found my passion in helping adults, children, teens, and families with psychotherapy, behavior therapy and mental health therapy. Recognizing the vulnerability and critical needs of struggling youth and adults has fueled my interests in developing a full range of multimodal approaches to help those in need find their strength and purpose.
I have worked providing psychotherapy services in-home, in office, telehealth, hospital, and community settings for over 18 years. I have also provided life coaching, educational and vocational development, and guidance to teen students as a NJ School Guidance counselor for 13 years.
I have a special interest in helping parents with family therapy, such as defiance, co-parenting, family and divorce adjustment; developing behavioral improvement strategies that are realistic and effective.
