Child Therapy
Children often show their feelings through their behaviors.
Child psychotherapy is a specialized form of mental health therapy that aims to treat the emotional, behavioral, and psychological challenges that children may exhibit. The primary goal of child psychotherapy or counseling is to help young individuals understand and manage their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors in order to improve their overall well-being.

Since children have a limited ability to verbalize their feelings, we help children identify, name, and express their feelings through play therapy, art therapy, and other creative ways to improve their functioning.
Children ages 8 and older can benefit from individual therapy.
However, younger children as young as 3 years old can benefit from family therapy, play therapy and using other ways to allow them to get those feelings out in healthy ways.

Whether your child is "acting out", biting, tantrums, refusals, fighting, not listening, crying, or showing other behavioral signs, we can help!
